Terms of Use
These terms apply to the FaveNest app and this website, both published by Dion Software, LLC.
Last updated 9 September 2026
Agreement
By downloading or using FaveNest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. FaveNest is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two conflict on a point Apple requires, Apple’s terms control.
Your license
You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use FaveNest on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source of the app, except where that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
Purchases and subscriptions
FaveNest is free to download and free to keep using. FaveNest Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks the Apple Intelligence titles, summaries and tags, the option to have a cloud model write them with your own API key, the Places map, unlimited custom categories and every accent color.
Plans
- Monthly — $2.99 per month, auto-renewing, opening with a seven-day free trial.
- Yearly — $19.99 per year, auto-renewing, opening with a one-month free trial.
- Lifetime — $49.99 as a single purchase, with nothing to renew.
Those are US App Store prices; your storefront may show a different one, and the price you will be charged is always shown in the app before you confirm. All three plans support Family Sharing. The free trial is an introductory offer available once per Apple Account across the monthly and yearly plans, so starting one uses it up.
Payment and renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. If you buy a subscription while a free trial is running, the unused part of the trial is forfeited.
Managing and canceling
You manage the subscription yourself, on your device: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal and leaves your access in place until the end of the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel or change a subscription on your behalf, because we never hold it.
What you keep if Pro ends
Nothing is taken back. Titles, summaries and tags the models already wrote stay written, the categories you created stay in your library and carry on filing new saves, and the accent color you chose stays selectable. Pro stops adding to your library; it never removes from it. You can restore a purchase at any time from the FaveNest Pro screen in Settings.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms — we are not able to issue one. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Consumers in some countries have additional statutory rights that these terms do not affect.
Changes to price or contents
We may change what Pro costs or what it includes. A price increase on a subscription you already hold takes effect only with the notice and the consent Apple requires, and you can cancel before it applies. Anything already unlocked by a Lifetime purchase stays unlocked.
Your content is yours
Everything you save in FaveNest belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and, as described in the Privacy Policy, we have no access to it. You are responsible for what you save and for having the right to save it.
Backups
Because your library lives on your device and in your own iCloud account, keeping it safe is in your hands. FaveNest provides a JSON backup you can export at any time, and we recommend doing so periodically. Dion Software, LLC is not able to recover data you lose.
Acceptable use
Do not use FaveNest to store or distribute unlawful material, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to interfere with Apple’s services. FaveNest fetches pages you save; do so only where you are permitted to access them.
Third-party content and services
FaveNest displays content from sites you save and uses Apple services including iCloud, CloudKit, MapKit, StoreKit, and Apple Intelligence. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it. Availability of Apple services is governed by Apple.
If you add your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic or an OpenAI-compatible service, FaveNest sends requests to that service from your device on your behalf. Your use of it is governed by the provider’s own terms, any usage charges are billed by the provider to your account and not by us, and you are responsible for the key and for keeping it secure. We do not control those services, their availability or what their models write, and a save keeps its plain title and the page’s own description if they do not answer.
Warranty and liability
FaveNest is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dion Software, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising out of your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continuing to use FaveNest after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
